Marketing Assistance and Support
Our Marketing Department is available to discuss competitive situations, changes in the marketplace, or any problem areas. It is their function to facilitate the production of business, develop and maintain agent relationships, and to remove obstacles hindering production. We are committed to being a force in the marketplace through successful agency partnerships.
Claims
The Atlas claim philosophy is to handle all claims promptly, fairly, and to utilize the best adjusters available in the various geographical locations. Our procedure is to contact the customer and all pertinent parties within 24 hours of claim receipt and manage the case to conclusion providing appropriate technical direction and supervision as needed. Our goal is to provide round-the-clock claim service for our agents and policyholders through our adjuster and vendor network.
Policy and Endorsement Processing
Upon receipt of applications and change requests, data is promptly entered into our system. Policies and endorsements are then generated and generally mailed to the agent and/or customer within 7 working days. Underwriting on most lines of coverage is performed on a post-issue basis. Our goal is to provide timely and accurate processing to our customers.
Customer Billing and Inquiries
Atlas offers a variety of direct bill payment plans to meet the needs of our policyholders. A toll-free telephone number is printed on our statements for their convenience in making billing inquiries. Our friendly and experienced service representatives stand ready to assist.
